Satcom Direct Government (SDG) is hiring a Sr. Technical Project Manager (POSITION PENDING CONTRACT AWARD) to serve as the technical liaison between the Program Management Office (PMO) and systems, network, and NOC engineering teams. You will be responsible for technical oversight, system integration, sustainment, and maintenance of the eLoran infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in networking, data center management, and telecommunications infrastructure. eLoran subject matter expertise is highly preferred.

How will you make a difference?
Technical Program Support: Act as the primary technical advisor for the eLoran program, ensuring all engineering solutions align with contractual and technical requirements
Network & Data Center Integration: Guide the implementation of network infrastructure, WAN/LAN connectivity, cloud services, and data center operations
System Sustainment & Maintenance: Oversee the long-term sustainment strategy, including hardware lifecycle management, cybersecurity updates, and system redundancy planning
Reference Station & Transceiver Tower Builds: Provide technical guidance and oversight for the construction and commissioning of eLoran reference stations and transmitter sites
NOC/SOC Collaboration: Work with NOC/SOC teams to ensure real-time monitoring, security operations, and incident response plans are properly implemented
Test & Validation Support: Assist in system validation, performance testing, and troubleshooting activities
Configuration Management & Change Control: Ensure proper documentation of system configurations, updates, and engineering changes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
7-12 years of experience in network engineering, telecommunications, or systems engineering
Secret Clearance preferred – Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
Required Skills, Experience, and Talents
Strong expertise in data centers, networking infrastructure, and information data exchanges
Experience with reference station and transceiver tower builds
Proficiency in NIST cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessments, and network security best practices
Hands-on experience with system sustainment and long-term maintenance planning
Ability to interface with subcontractors, technical teams, and government stakeholders

eLoran system knowledge is a significant advantage
