You are an experienced professional with a systems level approach to security. Ideally you have a background in aerospace or defense, and are well-versed with automation. You take full ownership of deliverables, and will work across all departments to identify gaps and vulnerabilities in order to implement effective solutions and processes.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a key stakeholder to work with system engineers and developers across programs to ensure cybersecurity processes and deliverables are met.
Implement processes and tools to secure organizational assets and data.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify and remediate security threats.
Automate and standardize controls and processes to reduce overhead on IT, DevOps, and software teams.
Prepare Merlin for classified processing by establishing information systems and applicable controls.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science or related field
3-5+ years experience securing information systems from development to enterprise.
Strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, and automation fundamentals, including Ansible, Python, and Powershell.
Good understanding of network security including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and tools for application security (static/dynamic code analysis).
Nice to Haves:
DevSecOps background with experience in AWS/Azure.
Have referenced 800-53 to secure information systems for IATT/ATO.
Experience contributing to system architecture design and development especially in avionics.
