About the Candidate / Role
Tradewind Aviation is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to work out of our base location in Middlebury, CT. The Marketing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in executing and supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives aimed at increasing brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation for Tradewind Aviation. This position requires an energetic, detail-oriented, and creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional, to increase awareness of Tradewind Aviation’s services.
· Manage and update the company website, ensuring that content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the brand’s messaging.
· Assist with email marketing campaigns, including writing copy, designing templates, and tracking engagement metrics.
· Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to ensure Tradewind Aviation’s marketing efforts remain competitive.
· Support the marketing department in various administrative tasks, including reporting, recordkeeping, mailings, collateral
· Production and distribution, printing, inventory monitoring and re-ordering
· Manage the marketing email inbox and respond to client, partner, and colleague mail inquiries
· Sales team support including training, documentation, updates and booking system assistance
· Assist with maintenance and testing of website content and other technology initiatives
· Assistance and coordination of internal communication initiatives
· Other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing
Required Education and Experience
· Must have strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and have a positive attitude
· One to three years of hospitality or marketing experience preferred
· Analytical and proficient with data analysis
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
· Ability to work independently and cohesively in a group
· High energy, highly organized and resourceful
· Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, OneDrive, Teams
· Knowledge of WordPress website management platform
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer
· Strength to lift 15lbs, and the ability to work in confined spaces.
