IATA Sustainability and Economics’ core objectives are to contribute to airlines’ financial sustainability and advance the industry towards the goal of net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050. In this capacity, we provide our airline members with sustainability and economic analyses, tools, and support that allows them to meet present and future obligations, measure themselves against the overall industry’s performance, and support their advocacy. Our division aims to be the leading research body in air transportation, and we have a central role in helping shape the thinking of the industry.
You will
report to the Regional Head External Affairs and
Sustainability, North Asia and with a dotted line to the Head of
Industry Analysis (S&E-IA), you will conduct research on the global air transport
industry, including quantitative analysis, writing reports and publications,
and delivering oral presentations focused on market developments in the sector.
You will contribute notably to the passenger and cargo market analysis and
forecasting, as well as to our work on airline performance and our geographic
coverage of air transport markets.
