About the team you are joining

Reporting to the Director, People, Performance and Development, Geneva/Montreal & Business Engagement, the incumbent will support the day-to-day Human Resources operations for the Montreal office.

What your day would be like

Manage the whole employee’s working life cycle from administrative perspective: from pre-arrival activities (relocation, immigration, etc…) / onboarding to departure process:

  • Manage employee data in HR systems and be accountable for its accuracy;
  • Compile and maintain paper and digital employee records;
  • Manage the relocation files by ensuring the accuracy of immigration related paperwork and coordinating closely with the relocation company;
  • Manage Montreal benefit administration (Health Insurance enrollment, Pension fund information, Leave Management system, STD/LTD, fitness contributions claim, etc.);
  • Track, manage and report on maternity, paternity and sickness leaves and liaise with insurance and third-party partners as needed;
  • Monitor the work permits’ expiration dates, prepare the required documents and support the employees during the renewal process;
  • Liaise with government authorities (federal and provincial) on employees’ issues and application/renewal of various documents;
  • Handle employee queries and provide advice on PPD policy, procedures and best practices.


Manage and follow up on some “financial activities”:

  • Establish payroll instructions and support the Montreal Payroll process done by Finance;
  • Ensure all Purchase Orders (PO) and other financial documentation are well processed.


Support the activities of the team:

  • Support PPD Business Partners on administrative activities & processes;
  • Support and manage ad hoc recruitment activities, job posting, shortlisting, interview scheduling, reference checks, drafting of contracts, and other talent acquisition activities;
  • Contribute and support the implementation of PPD projects and any other assigned tasks as requested.

We would love to hear from you if

  • are a University graduate in the fields of Business administration, Human resources management or Law;
  • have an initial successful experience in the HR field in Canada, ideally in Quebec;
  • have excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a strong focus on quality and high attention to details;
  • are at ease with IT systems, numbers and Excel proficiency to create, manage and consolidate data & reports;
  • have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively internationally, cross-culturally, and at all levels from within and outside the organization;
  • are fluent in English; French an asset.
