FL3XX is a comprehensive software-as-a-service (SaaS) for the business aviation industry. From quoting trips to scheduling flights, managing crew qualifications, and submitting customs and migrations - FL3XX is an A-to-Z solution for a wide cross-section of operators.

We are in need of a person to quickly grow into a Finance and Operations Manager role on a fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover for an expected period of 12 months.

What you'll do:

  • Manage and oversee financial operations, including reports, budgeting, and forecasts, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Own the accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
  • Manage daily cash flow to enhance visibility, ensuring liquidity requirements are met and supporting informed decision-making.
  • Support in financial performance, track, and update KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and audits.
  • Develop and optimize internal processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency and organisational productivity.
  • Manage procurement processes and oversee associated payments to ensure cost-efficiency and timely execution.
  • Manage facilities, equipment, and resources to optimize organisational productivity.
  • Work closely with management to align financial and operational strategies while partnering with internal departments to ensure alignment on financial goals, streamline processes, and support cross-functional initiatives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance-related roles. If you have previous experience working for an IT or SaaS company, that will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of Austrian accounting concepts and procedures, including financial reporting and consolidation processes.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • English business language skills. German language skills are an advantage.
  • Self-confident, unafraid of making mistakes, approaches new challenges with strength and flexibility.
  • Excellent multitasking and project management skills
  • Well organised and able to prioritise in a fast-paced setting.
  • Time zone & working hours: CET hours with some overlapping with CST.
