Position Summary:

The Maintenance Department Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities related to the maintenance operations department within the organization. This role includes budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting to ensure efficient financial planning and resource allocation. The Accounting Manager will collaborate closely with the maintenance team and other departments to provide accurate financial insights, track expenses, and ensure compliance with financial policies and standards. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive the maintenance department's financial performance.

Requirements

 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including supervising transactions, reviewing ledger entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. 
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. 
  • Manage the general ledger system. 
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate tracking of inflows and outflows. 
  • Support budget and forecast activities. 
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as payroll and audit.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with Quickbooks is preferred.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Experience with Corridor is a preferred

Compensation Package:

  • $80,000 - $110,000
